Writing the Green Wave

In 2019, I managed a team of volunteers for Northeast Color’s Annual Community Day to beautify a corrugated tunnel running under Silver Street along the Dover walking trail. Once a dark, graffiti-covered hideout, the tunnel was transformed into a vibrant and welcoming passage. The design paid homage to Dover High School’s mascot, “The Green Wave,” and was intentionally crafted to be easy for city crews to maintain and prevent future vandalism. Through teamwork and creativity, we revitalized this space, enhancing the trail’s appeal and creating a sense of pride for the community.
