Do it for the Kids
In 2022, I had the privilege of transforming the Children’s Museum of Dover’s tunnel to Henry Law Park during Northeast Color’s Annual Community Day. Previously dark and covered in graffiti, the tunnel became a vibrant, child-friendly space through a collaborative effort with 12 NEC volunteers and generous donations. In just seven hours, we applied a mixed-media mural using Alumicor print film, fresh paint, and interactive elements like a turtle scavenger hunt for kids. Supported by the Dover Arts Commission, the Children’s Museum, and the City of Dover, the project brightened a public space and highlighted the power of community and creativity.
